Tools to do the Job !
Think back to when you were first promoted. Were you sent on a course to give you the building blocks of management? All too often team leaders and first time managers are appointed without having any basic management tools with which to operate. In partnership with several of our Clients we have developed a four day programme, run over three months, where individuals are given the tools to manage. The programme is modular and can be delivered in the order most applicable to the organisation.

• Performance management – appraisal and discipline
• Recruitment and Selection – interview skills
• Problem solving & decision making
• Presentation Skills – confidence
• Communicating effectively
Group sizes vary from 4 – 10 and each session delivers an individual action plan which is reviewed at the start of the following session. Participants build up a resource folder which includes aide memoirs, check lists and guidance notes.
This programme works best if those attending are about to – or have very recently taken up – new appointments.
